Sales Executive Role

Title : Sales Executives
Reports to: General Manager, Sales
Location: Tema – Ghana
Employment Type: Contract (1 year renewable)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

You are accountable for delivering on the key accountabilities for this role, which will be discussed and agreed with
you as part of the company’s performance management process. These include

 

 

  • Assess clients’ needs and present our suitable promoted FDA approved, CE Marked and WHO assessed Rapid Diagnostic
    Tests (RDTs) such as Malaria test, Typhoid test, HIV test, Syphilis test, Pregnancy test, Prostate Cancer etc.
  • Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our tests utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Provide medical tests information and deliver test samples to relevant health facilities and pharmacies.
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits.
  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
  • Build positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence targeted group in the decision-making process.
  • Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest medical data.

OTHER

  • Maintains professional affiliations to enhance the professional growth and remain current with the latest trends in the industry.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Marketing, or other related fields.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant sales and /or marketing experience.
  • Experience in the field of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and devices will be an added advantage.
  • SSSCE/WASSCE holders with at least five (5) years of proven experience in the field of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and devices maybe considered.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of company products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

COMPENSATION

Monthly Basic Salary plus Commission.
